Giving Back to the Community

HoneyGirl Skincare is all about giving back to Detroits community and providing service. Owner Amber Mitchell not only is interested in bring safe clean eco friendly skincare to the community but is also the board secretary and horticultural specialist for a local urban garden Crane Street Garden. She also works for a nonprofit after school learning program Say Detroit Play Center as the Lead Gardening instructor and STEAM instructor. Crane Street Garden

Crane Street Garden is an urban gardening company located on Detroits east side. Providing fresh produce to an area that is considered a food desert.

Say Detroit Play Center

Say Detroit Play Center is a none profit after school program providing academic support for students grade 3rd-12th grade. They specialize in reading intervention and providing access to extra curricular activities year around. Jar Return Program

HoneyGirl Skincare is pushing to be more sustainable and would love your help to do so. We offer the jar return program for you to return your butter containers to be properly recycled. You can drop off empty jars at The Rust Belt Market Friday-Sunday 2pm-6pm or to send them in by emailing honeygirlskincare@gmail.com to receive a return shipping label. For every jar you send in you will receive 10% off your next butter purchase. If you return a total of 10 jars you will receive a free body butter with your next purchase.
